You never know what people are going to send us for the Haunted America Conference raffle. These vintage pearl earrings were sent to me by a woman who explained that they’d belonged to her great aunt, who’d been a Spiritualist medium in the 1930s. They’d been passed along through the family and no one wanted to keep them because they all believed the aunt’s ghost was attached to them. Each family member reported a haunting after obtaining the earrings, including my correspondent. Truth or fiction? Two additional family members I spoke with swore it really happened, but you’ll have to decide for yourself if you take them home with you after the raffle. See you in June!
