[10/31/16]   We are now offering the wonderful apartment now for long-term rental. We enjoyed the short-term stays and here is what the last person said, "Loved, loved,loved this property. 
From the 6 minute walk to The Blue Moon Cafe, to the spacious and beautifuly decorated apartment . I felt truly Southern. I have normaly stayed at The Wilcox not anymore!

[06/23/15]   We are gearing up for the Wedding Season and our special place would be a great start for a honeymoon or a special place for friends and family staying in town for the wedding. We provide a 10 percent discount for wedding events.

[04/09/15]   We got our first review this week. Here it is. "This is a lovely rental, perfect for a couple enjoying Aiken, or two people coming in to enjoy golf. You are able to walk downtown and feel very safe. We have two young children, and I would not recommend the apartment for children. The owner has lovingly restored the apartment and filled it with antiques and interesting art. It just isn't a good fit for active kids as I was constantly worried they would upset an expensive piece. There is a wonderful park and train station across the street from the apartment and it was great for the kids. The owner's office is in the bottom unit, so when we had a problem with the TV he had the issue cleared up almost immediately."

[03/11/15]   We have had our first weekend and month long rental now in 2014 with some other weeks rented. I think we off on a good foot and we exceeded the expectations from everyone. Still working on more exposure.

[12/22/14]   We are officially done with the renovation. Lots of hard work but we love the finished product. We now have two months rented and need ramp up our exposure. We probably, have the nicest furnished rental in the downtown area. Lots of credit to my lovely wife who had the vision of what it should look like.

[07/15/14]   Today the city dug up the sewer from the cleanout to the street. Lots of roots competing for space in the old sewer pipe so they will dig it out and replace with a new one. Glad I am not pay for it. Well ... I really am in taxes.

[07/11/14]   Trying to get the custom cabinets in but have to level the floor first. Think that is happening today. Then all new appliances come tomorrow. Might finish painting in the bathroom this weekend.
