[03/09/15]   We are exploring converting the MV Finished Business to an electric hybrid. The original third shaft would be reinstalled and connected to the demonstration electric motor for cruising at clutch speed. WOW. After all, she was originally build by the Electric Launch Company (ELCO)! Less carbon footprint, cleaner air, consistent with our new company mission!

In honor of Lisa-Lisbeth Finney, a true gift to the planet. Wish she could be here to see us rebuild our company with its very lofty mission.

This is Lucy, the newest of the two huge engines on Celebrity, v-12, about 1200HP. Kids love the sounds when Lucy and Ethel start to purr!

This is what we want to revive along the river. This is one of my favorite family-focused groups.

Captain Bob Pennington founded Finished Business Yacht Charters in 1986. He was a true "character," who loved doing for others, and of course, telling stories.

Ticket Booth Arrives at Washington Marina!

Celebrity still stuck in the ice but not for long!!! I smell Spring.

[02/19/15]   Captain Eric spent the morning at INOVA Alexandria Hospital giving blessing of the Ashes. Captain Dave is recovering from foot surgery.
Bob Stickell, Owner of Washington Marina is out with the flu. He is missed!

[02/19/15]   Today we had to break the ice around the boats to move them a bit. Also, we proceeded with the USCG approved plan on new wiring thanks to Hal. Al finished the new back doors. Don installed some new glass. Debbie continued detailing the forward ares. Erik installed new wall covering in one of the heads. Bill fired up the engines, Lucy and Ethel.

Winter days are for dreaming of spring! What do you think of picking up passengers for happy hour tours and dinners here in southeast DC?
