AREA15, Las Vegas’ immersive art, events and entertainment district recently opened “LIFTOFF” – a panoramic skyline experience. Located next to Art Island in front of AREA15, the new attraction is an open-air ride providing sweeping views of the Vegas skyline and mountains. At the base of LIFTOFF is LIFTOFF Lounge, a full-service bar and open-air lounge inspired by aeronauts and aviators seeking the exhilaration of flight and the vistas only high-altitude vantage points can offer. The imbibe-and-ride experience begins at the LIFTOFF Lounge located at the base of the steel tower designed as a triple helix. Guests can choose from a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy aboard the ride. Guests will then be strapped into their seat with their feet dangling in the air before ascending to the 130-foot summit with the Las Vegas skyline as their background.

Italy on Monday introduced a new series of COVID-19-related restrictions for both citizens and travelers alike. Targeting those who are unvaccinated, the new rules limit access to public spaces and services, according to Schengen Visa Info News.

Access to hotels and other accommodations are now only be permitted to those who have been fully vaccinated or recovered from the COVID-19 disease, the report says. Similarly, access to public transport, including planes, trains, ships and ferries, as well as museums, exhibitions and festivals will also only be possible for those who have proof vaccination or a recovery certificate. In addition, mask-wearing is required on all public transportation.

Previously, proof of a negative COVID-19 was sufficient for access to these sites and transportation modes.

As for travel to Italy, the current entry rules remain in place: Visitors must fill out a Passenger Locator Form and present a vaccination or recovery certificate, along with a PCR or rapid antigen test that was taken before arrival in Italy. Those who are unable to present one of the two certificates will have to present a negative test and undergo a five-day quarantine requirement.

According to The Associated Press, Italy has fully vaccinated 86 percent of its 12-and-over population, and nearly 75 percent of those who are eligible have received a booster.

As of December 27th, 2021, all passengers arriving on domestic flights are required to show a negative COVID-19 test (either antigen or PCR performed by an authorized health provider) result taken within 48 hours before arrival time, regardless of vaccination status. Hanauma Bay on Oahu, Hawaii is a spectacular white-sand beach surrounded by lush green cliffs; it really is a sight to behold! Formed from a series of volcanic eruptions, Hanauma Bay is now a marine life sanctuary. This historic bay was used by Hawaiian royalty for fishing and recreation. It was aptly named Hanauma, which means curved bay, in Hawaiian.

Reservations are now required to visit Hanauma Bay. You can make reservations up to two days in advance, starting at 7:00 a.m. Only 1,000 visitors are allowed to enter the bay daily. Tickets are in extremely high demand - we recommend you try for tickets by 7:00 a.m. two days prior to your preferred visit date for a chance to get a reservation.
