This year’s annual “Run For Fun” Turkey Day race has gone virtual! Walk or run the three, six, or eleven-mile races now through November 30. All proceeds from the race will go towards the #Montauk Food Pantry, the #EastHampton Food Pantry, the #Springs Food Pantry and East Hampton Meals on Wheels.

PSA: The $35 charge for parking at Kirk Park Beach has ended. The lot now requires a Town of East Hampton parking sticker. There is a small sign at the entrance advising this. Parking by permit only is in effect ALL YEAR in Montauk including Gin Beach and Ditch Plains.

Our friends at Inlet Seafood are up and running for takeout only right now. Glad to have you back. tt's in the harbor is on a break until next weekend and they have a new venture in town coming soon. Westlake Fish House is open for dinner and Duryeas Lobster Deck is open through September 27, closed if it's raining! We are doing our best to keep up with our restaurant members and keep you informed !

Tomorrow is the last Thursday Farmer's Market for 2020. Market switches to Friday next week on September 18. 9am -2pm., on the Green. We are planning for rain or shine tomorrow.

Here's some guidance in getting the coveted Town of East Hampton permits. The offices are closed to the public, but they are super helpful on the phone if you have a question !

Before you grab your clam rake, make sure you have the proper permit! A shellfish permit is required and available to residents only, and entitles the permit holder to bring along a child or guest. Contact the Town Clerk’s office at 631-324-4142 or visit https://bit.ly/2XuCb8d for the shellfish permit application. Happy clamming!

Attention South Fork Restaurants : The SCDHS has resumed the Food Managers on line course with the test at the Yaphank office. A total of 12 students will be tested at a time as opposed to 40 in the past.
