In these times when the impact of travel is greater than ever, I’m still spending hours each day to stay on top of the ever-changing travel landscape and restrictions so you don’t have to figure it out. Yesterday, I participated as a panelist to provide travel updates on visiting the British Virgin Islands (T-39 days until they welcome international visitors!) and also learned about the latest requirements and visitor status for St Lucia, Barbados, Maldives, Turks and Caicos.

I’m partnering with and continuing to learn about domestic “school-cation” and long weekend getaway options for families, couples, and solo travelers. The Safe Travels program allows travelers to bypass the mandatory 14-day quarantine by taking a COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours before departure of the final leg of your trip. All travelers five and older will be required to take a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab. The state of Hawaii will accept test results ONLY from Trusted Testing and Travel Partners. Travelers will be responsible for the cost of the test. Currently, a second test is required upon arrival to Hawaii Island, it’s administered by Hawaii County, and it’s free.
