Hello all! The city’s Christmas tree has arrived at city hall. This years tree is being donated by Driscoll’s Potting Shed here in Connellsville. The tree comes from another local business in Indian Head, Kramer’s Tree Farm. Driscoll’s will have Christmas trees from Kramer’s available for purchase starting on Black Friday. Santa clause will be on hand to greet the kiddos from 2-4pm on November 28th Small business Saturday and from 11-2pm during Its A Connellsville Christmas. Driscoll's Potting Shed. Thanksgiving Dinner Meal Sign-ups

Hello all! The Connellsville ministerial association has made the difficult decision to cancel this years Community Thanksgiving Day dinner at the Connellsville senior center due to the covid 19 pandemic.

So Mary Sampey from the Connellsville Community Ministries reached out to me about coming up with a plan b so we can ensure that everyone who needs a thanksgiving meal can still get one on thanksgiving day. I reached out to 3 of our business owners to seek their help with preparing the meals. Without hesitation they said yes and will be covering all costs of making the meals. Then the Catholic Churches in the city stepped up to help with meals too. We will have enough food to prepare 500 thanksgiving dinner Togo meals.

We are going to limit this to the Connellsville school district this year. All meals will be distributed from the ministries building in our downtown starting at 8am on thanksgiving day. You must sign up for the meals in advance no meals will be given out without sign up.

We will need volunteers to help deliver meals. I will post the link below.

If you or anyone you needs a meal please use link below to sign up. We are limiting it to 10 meals per household. We want to ensure everyone gets a meal that needs one.
