Private San Francisco Bay area tour guide. San Francisco, Muir Woods, Marin County, Point Reyes and Sonoma and Napa wine tours.
This is Maddie, the incredible, inimitable 5 year old Australian I had on a tour.
She should have her own late night talk show.
Huge wave activity at Salt Point State Park 2.5 hours north of San Francisco.
Mother Nature's entertainment for hours -
Hey Old People,
Remember the Norman Rockwell painting covers on Look magazine ?
I was lucky to grab a photo just as an alien space craft left this pod of extra-terrestials to infiltrate Earth and walk among us. The only thing I could make out on the license plate was "Texas".
This is the view from the deck of a house that some friends rent out to the public in Gualala, a scenic 2.5 hour drive north of SF. It sleeps 6+ comfortably. It's the perfect vacation place inside and outside. It's just north of the Russian River, Salt Point State Park seashore and near Point Arena. Lots of beautiful sea side walking trails and waves smacking rocks with huge splashes. I just got back from there and I'm ready to go back.
It's heaven on earth.

It's simply a melange of the most incredible flavors. This is what the Aztec kings would have served at barbecues.

I had a couple from the UK last week and it occurred to me to take them to the cliffside Moss Beach Distillery for lunch. We had great seafood and had the super surprise extra perk of watching whales play just offshore. Who knew ? Earlier this year I had a tour with a guy who was the size of a sequoia. Turns out he was U2 guitarist the Edge's tour bodyguard. I continue to meet the most interesting and friendly people from all over the world. Check out the exhibition hall inside the Palace of Fine Arts for its 100th birthday celebration. http://www.ppie100.org/about/

Salt Point State Park seascape. I've been visiting here for 20+ years. It is simply serene and gorgeous. And it's just down the road from Timber Cove and the flowering pampas grass.
Let's see, lately I've had clients from Bucharest, Hamburg, Norway, Minneapolis, Indiana, Chicago and and they are all thrilled with the warm weather we have been having. There have been beaucoup wine tastings : Schramsberg, Far Niente, Domaine Carneros, Jacuzzi, Rombauer, Dutton Goldfield, Kosta Browne, and MacPhail wineries. Highly recommend the heavenly lobster rolls at Willi's in Healdsburg. Went to the opening of the 100th anniversary centennial celebration of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition at the Palace of Fine Arts. Fabulous : http://www.ppie100.org/about/
What else ? I shot the current cover & centerfold photos in Mergers & Acquisitions magazine. And proud to announce that after some way-over the top obsessive jones-ing I got a new guitar.

I'm jonesin' for some mozzarella al minuto from TraVigne in St. Helena. Eating one of these is a life changing experience.
Eating two can discombobulate your hard drive. Then there's the "forever roasted lamb". I was minding my own business when I came across it on the menu. Life altering. It is impossible to delete it from your hard drive.
Meanwhile, people are talkin' : http://tinyurl.com/mvfuw8u
It's been a busy year. 127 tours so far. People from everywhere in the world. Showing off San Francisco, beloved Marin County, wine tours in the Sonoma, Dry Creek and Napa valleys, walking the serenity of Muir Woods and beautiful Point Reyes.
