Heads up.
Hi there, I'm a non-current pilot from Austin TX and would like to go up for 30 minutes with my wife and see the lake; could someone message me about availability? If there's another private pilot who want to just share the fuel, that's fine as well.
Stopped in at BKL and 37L didn't have control lock in. It was in the bag. Tsk tsk tsk.

T&G is Northeast Ohio's longest running, and largest flying club. We have trained approximately 10,000 pilots since beginning operations in 1976.

Choosing the right flight school is important. You want to know that you are buying a safe, high quality experience. When comparing us to others, be sure to ask a lot of questions. Some key things to ask about are: where/how the planes are maintained, what is included (and not included) in the rental rate (ie: fuel, insurance), what does the training program consist of and does it fit well with the logistics of your life? AS A T&G MEMBER, YOU WILL ENJOY: - A comprehensive insurance package. This is a key differentiator between us and many of our competitors. Personal flight insurance is expensive. By becoming a member, you are covered under our group policy. - An extensive fleet of 26 aircraft available for member use, to accommodate all levels of flying expertise, and to allow progressive advancement in flying skills, ranging from tail dragger to turbo prop. - On-site maintenance facility and professionals on staff to constantly monitor aircraft and ensure its safe and airworthy condition. You don't have to wait for days or weeks for your plane to be sent to another location for maintenance! - Affordable aircraft rental rates. We own our planes, get bulk discounts on fuel, and pass the savings on to our members. Beware of misleading low rates advertised elsewhere ("dry" rates, misc surcharges, inflated ground time, etc). Furthermore, with our flying club model, we have lower overhead than commercial schools and academies and pass on savings to our customers. - A superior pilot training program, providing instruction from your first lesson through to turbo prop charter pilot. We hold our flight instructors to the same standards as airline pilots. - 24 hour reservation service, 24 hour accessibility. Fly on your schedule! - A monthly newsletter to keep members fully aware of club benefits, policies, and social activities.

On the last day of the Caribbean adventure we woke up in paradise and went to sleep chilly after busting up ice to get the plane back in it’s hangar. #pilotsofthecaribbean

The last night in the Caribbean was one to remember. The Ferry family treated #thepilotsofthecarribean to our best (by far) meal of the trip in Green Turtle Cay, Bahamas. Thanks to John and Karen!

clevelandfilm.org Georg “Schorsch” Kempter has never been a man of many words. He spends his days working quietly as a gardener and landscaper in a small Bavarian town. His marriage has lost the little spark it had, and his daughter has grown tired of his detached demeanor. To top it all...

We’re about to depart Turks and Caicos for Treasure Cay, Bahamas. Out of all the FBOs and airports we have dealt with, Provo Air Center has been the best. Tessa made the experience seamless and fun. Great facilities with reasonable fuel prices. Highly recommended for general aviation! Honorable mention to Odyssey at Exuma International. #pilotsofthecaribbean

It was a relaxing time in Grenada with crystal clear water and red starfish. Today the #pilotsofthecaribbean head back toward the US. First stop is Turks and Caicos.

Good morning from St Lucia #pilotsofthecaribbean

The mountains on the approach to St Lucia are stunning! #pilotsofthecaribbean

The #pilotsofthecaribbean stopped to bathe in Trafalgar Falls in Dominica - it is a unique location where very hot thermal spring water rich with iron (the orange area on the left) flows next to twin waterfalls. Sitting at the intersection of the two streams is bliss.

The #pilotsofthecaribbean visited Alexander Hamilton’s birthplace and old plantation/estate on Nevis. The plantation is particularly amazing as the machinery is still in place

It was a gorgeous sunset flight into Nevis last night. We landed at the island with the tall volcano off the nose (Nevis). The islands on the left are part of St Kitts. #pilotsofthecaribbean

Here’s where #FyreFestival was actually held - on Great Exuma. The FEMA tents were gone so we didn’t stay. #pilotsofthecaribbean

Words cannot express how sad we are to hear of the tragic loss of fellow earthrounder, Wei Chen. We had the pleasure of meeting Wei and his young daughter in July 2016 when he flew to our office in Cleveland, Ohio. He offered priceless advice on flying around the world to Saki Chen who would later follow in his footsteps to fly around the world. Wei's passion for aviation was an inspiration to us and many others. He will live on through the many people that he has inspired to follow their dreams.

The Investigator | Air traffic controllers subject to expanded drug testing

Air traffic controllers are being subject to expanded drug testing which will now include opiates. At Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, controllers handle nearly 300 take-offs and landings a day. More than 8 million passengers passed through the airport in 2016. "We only have to know where one plane is going. The controller has to know where 10 planes are going," says Veteran Pilot Larry Rohl.

wkyc.com According to records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, 196 controllers failed drug testing in a 5-year period. 26 worked in control towers in the Great Lakes Region.
