Brandi Jones Sims and April Brittenham Dew spent the weekend with the kids making memories at the cabin! Fishing, Santa & The Grinch, board games, playing outside and even a carriage ride through Spruce Pines!

As many of you know we were blessed with many renters in our first year having The Dew Drop Inn! We turned away many folks who wanted to rent weekends or certain nights that were already booked. We were happy to be booked but sad to turn folks away. With that being said, we are happy to announce that as of January 2022 we are adding a second cabin! 😁 Mountain Dew will be located right behind The Dew Drop and is a 1 bedroom 1 bath log cabin with a loft area for the kids! Please take a look at the pictures and let us know if we can assist you in a mountain get away located right on the Toe River! Literally right in your front yard! Nightly rates are $150 with a $75 cleaning fee. We look forward to helping you get away from all the madness.

Friday is the start of our fall photo contest! This contest, "Colorful Captures," is one of our most popular of the year. It's easy to get gorgeous shots of the landscape when the landscape itself is already beautiful. Photo taken this morning from Grandfather Mountain, you can see the fall colors starting to unfold and drop to the lower elevations weekly now.

Bristol and myself did a little prospecting and didn’t do too bad, got about 15 colors! 2 or 3 of these are decent size flakes.

Heard great thing about this place from a lot of our guests, we’re about to find out for ourselves!
