Siddhartha Gautam:
Was burned in Lumbini? He was the son of great King Sudhodhan and Queen Maya Devi. His father was the King of kapilwastu and he had married with Maya Devi from the state of Ram Gram. They were from the shakya dynasty. Lumbeni is located in the districts of Rupendehi and Ram Gram is located in the district of Nawalparasi. In the ancient period of more than 2000 Year ago, these places were neither situated in Nepal nor India. They were separate state. After the treaty of sugauli, they were joined in Nepal. One day while Maya Devi was going to her Home Palace, she got pregnant and gave the life of Siddhartha on the way in colorful garden of Lumbeni beneath a sal tree. During the celebrations of the birth day of Siddhartha, the hermit seer (bhavisyabadi) Asita journeyed from his mountain and announced that the child would either become a great King (chakravati) or a great holy man, is said that Siddhartha had 32 types of human symptoms while he was burned. During that time king Suddhodhan was 54 years old. After the birth of Siddhartha Gautam, Astoklogers (jyotisiharu) also announced the same. King suddhaodhan held a naming ceremony on the fifth day, and invited eight Brahmin scholars to read the future of Siddhartha. All announced the same prediction that the baby would either become a great king of great holy man. Only a Youngest and later astrologer named Kaundiaya was one who unequivocally (clearly) Predicated that Siddhartha would become a Buddha. The king got very disturbance from that oracle and he did strictly stop to go outside from the palace to prince Siddhartha. When prince Siddhartha got 16 years old his father did marriage to him with Yashodhara. Siddhartha was banded to out from the palace up to 29 years. One day he unfortunately went to outside from the palace during the festival time and he saw in their field (1) an old man (2) One diseased man (3) One hermit (4) one dead body. From these sadly views, he got serious trouble and raised many question in his heart as why people get these sorrowful things? Why people get old? Why people are diseased? He thought himself I am man; I shall be getting same things. He started to think about the ideas to released (mukti) from these sorrowful things. He was wondering all the time at the same time, her wife yashodhar gave the birth of his son. Actually Siddhartha gautam didn’t want to marriage in his life. So he gave the name of his som Rahu, which means bad man. Siddhartha's mother Maya Devi had died when Siddhartha was in only 7 days. His father had sorrarate (sali bivaha) marriage after the death of is eldest queen. While Siddhartha saw four things in the opened world theme never feel peace. So he went to out side to research the Knowledge to release from this materialistic world leaving the Royal Palace.
First of all the met to a virtue-preceptor (dharma guru) ALARKALAM. Even though he got much knowledge by him nevertheless he couldn't get the education about the sorrow ands sadness. He didn't get the way to attain liberation (mukti) from the sadness. So he walked forward leaving to him again. He met another virtue preceptor UDDHAK RAMPUTRA. Although he got the idea of the fifth element of the earth (fire, water, sun and earth) but he couldn't get the knowledge of sadness and happiness He went again forward to Bodh-Gaya. He had other five devotees also. They used to stay whole night in very cool water and whole day on very hot sun without any foods.
One day Siddhartha was in his deep meditation under the Bo-tree (peepal) Sujata came there and saw to Siddhartha. She used to worship to wild God (nature) she saw to Siddhartha as like God. Shaw was very wondering thinking that the God really presence, she was very happy and fed the rice pudding in his mouth. It was full moon day of the month of Baishka. when his other friends saw to him eating the rice feuding from the lady Sujata and they didn't believe to Siddhartha as he never get the real knowledge. So they left him and went away. At the same night Siddhartha got the knowledge of mahaprinivana and found how people are suffering by the shock in their life and way to release (mukti) He was 35 years old at that time the meaning of Buddha is receiving the knowledge.
The birth day of Gautam Buddha, the day of got knowledge and the day of death was same on the full moon day of Baishakh. So every people celebrate the Buddha fool moon day every year.
When he became a Buddha from his hard meditation he didn't share to other up to 54 days even it is said that many God's came to him to share the knowledge of Buddha. Siddhartha Gautam wanted to share his voluble ideas to his lost friends. So his searched his friends. He found his friends at Sarnath It are very Beautiful Palace with garden there are many deer. People also called deer park, so we can see deer and flowers in the posters and photos of Prod Buddha. When he met his friends, he shared his knowledge. In the beginning they didn't believe to him about his ides but when he explained briefly and then they follow to him.
siddhartha became a Buddha after eating the rice pudding: so Buddhist people don't pray and worship without food. It is the tradition of Buddhism.
Gautam Buddha visited many polces to sharing his knowledge with disciples up to 45 years. The main places were shrawasti, Kaushambi ans Rajgriha. Rishipatan and Saranath, Chali par bat, Kosal-desh, Baransi, Shakyanagar, Alabi, Urbe, Kapilwastu, Vaishali etc. He used to have food only one time a day and sleep under the Bo-tree Peepal during the time of sharing his knowledge. Physically he was very poor in this material world so one of the rich men made a residential palace for him. It is called Anath Pinda. The place was like Gompa so people called jet bam Bihar It is located in the Bihar of India. He died in kushinagar in the year of 80.
The primary sources of information regarding Siddhartha Gautam's life are the Buddhist. The Buddha and his monks spent for months each year discussing and rehearing, and after his death his monks set about preserving them. The teaching were transmitted orally each other. The scriptures were not written down until three or four hundred years after the Buddha's death.

There are many positions for the meditations like padmasan, supine mount Kailash is very popular fpr Padmasan meditatin and Gosaikunda for supine (uttano) Position. People believe they from the supine meditation can get peace. it is sad that God Shiva had gone to gosaikunda to take rest and for peace during the battle of demons in the ancient time and had drunken water bring out from the rock by his trident (triusul) so Gosaikunda is very popular for the pilgrims. Sherpa Buddhism
Our Buddhist ways aim at generating sacred energy for the benefit of all beings. Religion is a way of life, unifying all aspects of our lives. Traditionally lay lamas (ministers) in each village conduct ceremonies and teach religion. Our viewpoint came from first to last the oldest sect of Tibetan Buddhism, in Tibet about 1240 years ago
From long ago, people living in Nepal's mountain valleys have practiced the Buddhist religion. Guru Rinpoche's Books situation that is the people do not lose their religion, these valleys will remain peaceful. The four sects practiced by these people are the Nyingmapa, Sakyapa, Karguupa and the Bon-po (pre-Buddhist sect) as well, Tibetans who are now refugees living in Nepal and India practice the Gelukpa sect. the nyingmapa sect uses all three forms of Buddhism: Himalaya to improve one's character, Mahayana to think about others, and Vajrayana to follow a short-cut to spiritual freedom.
We describe the power of nature as protective for example, Miyo-Lungsangma (Mother Goddess of the Earth) resides on Chomolungma (Mt.Everest).behavior such as wisdom and kindness is also depicted as gods. Envisioning these gods helps us to concentrate while meditating. Prayers to the gods may influence important events and daily activities.pujas of offerings and prayers go together with weddings. Funerals and births we do pujahs for the benefit of an individual of a community. To practice their Buddhist belief the people build gompas (temples) .there is now about 3000 gompas for what are more villages or monasteries in Nepal.
About Lord Buddha and Buddhism
Briefly let me tell you about Lord Buddha. The Buddha was born at Lumbini in south-west Nepal. He was born from his mother's right side at a place called chal about 2500 years ago. Sheltered from any human unhappiness until the age of 29, he then left his princely life to look for a solution to humanity's suffering as an adult. He meditated for six years beside a river at a place called Chewa Narenjana. Then several years later, while meditating near Boudhgaya in northern India, Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. The achievement of complete understanding and kindness in his mind A Hindu Brahmin first skilled in Benares (Varanasi).he skilled this path to spiritual development until his death 45 years later
Buddhism flourished in India for almost 1700 years. It also multiplies to south Asia, china central Asia. Japal and the Katmandu valley Guru Rinpoche brought Buddhism from India to Tibet 1250 years ago. There it eventually opening into several different sects.
Guru Rinpoche: the founder of Tibetan Buddhism
Guru Rinpoche also called Ogyen Rinpoche or padma sambhava. Was born in a lotus flower in Ogyen (in the west of India) about 1250 years ago The Ogyen king Indra Bhuti, himself a reincarnated bodhisattva, had spent all his wealth on religious activities. He went to the sea to ask for more wealth. There, he found the child on the lotus flower and adopted him. The king of Tibet was trisong Detsen. Together, he and guru Rinpoche built Samye, the first monastery in Tibet around the year 779 AD. Guru Rinpoche called many India Buddhist teaches to join him to help teach the Sanskrit Language to the young, bright Tibetan children. In many places in Tibet, Guru Rinpoche also skilled the Vajrayana school of Buddhism. He qualified some of the knowledge directly to the people. He instructed his students to write other teaching in books (ter-ma) that they hid in rocks, the earth or made invisible. Guru Rinpoche predicted that a time come when religion would become loose and confused, when people would break laws, go against lamas and break Lows of government and religion would be heard that on earth everything is in confusion. Guru Rinpoche foretold that people, who would be his one hundred reincarnations, would find the ter, these hidden books. The collection of these books is the Rinpchen Tertzu, and the people who found them are the tertons.
Guru Rinpoche knew that in the future there would be a war in Tibet and the Tibetans would have to leave their land. He foretold that the mountains would be a protection for these times. Khumbu, Rowaling and Khanbalung are three hidden valleys in this region.

About Tying
Tying is a bowl on the lha-khang. Each set has seven bowls and some families may have two or three sets in which they daily offer water. The water seems valuable, so giving it is painless. It is very important in Buddhism that offerings are painless. From the water, we are learning to give offerings to the gods. Then as we achieve Buddha hood, we are willing to give our land, belongings of parts of our body to other people. Later it is less and less painful to give greater offerings.
