We are closely watching the Disney World reopening plans as they are proposed. We want you to know what has been proposed, but it still has to be approved and many more details still to come.
💙JULY 11: Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom
💙JULY 15: Epcot and Hollywood Studios
Some of the proposed health and safety protocols include:
-There will be a reservation system put in place for guests in order to access the parks.
-Face coverings for all guests and Cast Members
-Hand washing and hand sanitizing stations placed throughout
-Plexiglass barriers when checking out at a retail or dining location
-Physical distancing rules enforced
-Parades, shows, and entertainment will be temporarily suspended
-Temperature screenings for everyone prior to park entry
-Disney is also looking into “relaxation zones” for people who need a break from their masks
-At this time, there aren't any updates on hotel reservations and queues.
Please note again that these are proposals from Disney to the local and state officials. Once they are approved and presented to travel professionals, we will be able to advise you on how it will impact your current or future travel plans. We just want everyone to be updated as the situation changes!
And here’s a 2019 picture (no masks or distancing and still crowds!) with more hopeful Mickey balloons!
Happy Cinco de Mayo! I sure do love Mexico 🇲🇽💃🏼 from Cabo to Cancun, Mexico City to Riviera Maya...and I can’t wait to be back!
What a difference a year makes... This is one of my very favorite travel memories. In some ways it feels so recent and in others, so far away.

True story! What a week!
There's been a lot of questions in light of the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and how it may impact your future travel. Your safety and comfort are always the most important factors as we learn more about this situation. This means staying connected with travel suppliers (airlines, cruise lines, and resorts), monitoring the latest information from the CDC and Department of State and relaying any information that may impact your vacation to you as it develops.
We're all taking this day by day and are hopeful to see positive information in the coming weeks. I'm always happy to discuss any concerns you have and will keep you updated about any future changes that may affect your travel!
I’ve been home from Thailand for 2 weeks and definitely missing all of the delicious food and drinks!! It was, without a doubt, some of the best food I’ve ever eaten!
Do you love Thai food?? Pad Thai or Panang Curry? How about coconut or mango ice cream???
Give me ALL of it!!
Temples of Thailand
I’m in Seoul, South Korea! I’ll make a full post of my time in Korea soon, but until then... check out this winter wonderland I found in Seoul 🇰🇷
Also, I don’t remember the last time I was this cold. Snowing and windy...and a chilly -5 degrees Celsius ❄️
Happy Valentine’s Day from Thailand’s Heart Mountain 💕

This final day of 2019 has me thinking about some of my favorite travel highlights of the year! 2019 included Peru (yes, I took my 3 year old to Machu Picchu!), Portugal, Disney World, Cabo, Dominican Republic, Palm Beach, Jekyll Island, Asheville and a Caribbean Cruise! I am so thankful for the places I experienced and look forward to my 2020 adventures!

Laura's Saturday Spotlight!
This is what I am obsessed with right now. Unique ways of seeing the world. So follow me this month to get some really cool ways to travel.
Here at Blue Pineapple Travel we love to send our clients on ADVENTURES…specifically G Adventures.
This is a company that specializes in small group adventure travel. We have a great relationship with them and...AHEM, one of our very own, Nicole Andujar is a 2019-2020 G Adventures Ambassador of Change.
I just planned a tour for a client that is for 18-30 somethings in Australia. It is an 18 day tour beginning in Sydney finishing in Cairns. The itinerary includes the most unique experiences from surfing lessons, observing wildlife in their natural habitat, skydiving, sea kayaking, 4x4 excursions at Fraser Island, maxi-yacht sailing at Whitsunday Islands, chilling at the most beautiful beaches, bungee jumping, hiking, whitewater rafting, nights out on the town, diving the Great Barrier Reef and so much more.
If this isn’t your speed there are so many tours designed for your personal travel style. For example, there are National Geographic Journeys that have elevated accommodations great for families that desire more inclusions, greater hands-on exploration, interactions with local experts, and the freedom to roam, all within the structure and security of travelling in a small group. There is also Wellness, Active, Solo, Local living tours as well and the list goes on and on.
**G Adventures really digs deep to uncover unique experiences that you will not find on your own.**
Each group has a CEO (Chief Experience Officer) that serve as the guide and backbone to all the tours. Most meals are covered as well as tour transportation and accommodations. It really takes the guess work out of the way.
Thailand, Galapagos, Croatia, Costa Rica, Antarctica, Egypt…these tours can take you anywhere.
The length of these tours range from 1 day to 45 days long.
If you are looking for a fun, safe, educational, and immersive adventure…this is definitely for you.
AND GUESS WHAT >>>
In the next few weeks we are going to release some Blue Pineapple Travel/G Adventure Tours we have been working on, where you can join us in a Blue Pineapple designed Adventure!!! So keep a lookout! Might be some hints in the pics.

We spent this past weekend on the Georgia Coast and I had forgotten how wonderful my home state’s coast truly is. Good morning fellow travelers! Please take a look at my post below and vote for what sounds like your perfect solo vacation!
***hint: This isn't just for research purposes. I may be planning a little something for next year!
Wanderlust Wednesday! Nicole here, focusing on an increasingly popular travel trend...solo travel! I have a few solo clients and have personally experienced solo travel this year and can absolutely see why this type of travel is increasing.
Reasons clients choose solo travel include:
*making new friends
Ok, so lets get your opinion! If you take a solo vacation, which option will you choose?
Italy - think Tuscan villa, wine tasting, pasta making class and spa/wellness combined with exploring some of Italy's famous sites
Colombia - think beaches, Salsa dancing class, spa/wellness, the Rosario islands and a South American food experience
Picture overload because Cabo was amazing! I absolutely love Mexico and it was such a treat to experience the Baja Sur area. The pools, views, restaurants, spas and Mexican people filled me to the brim!! Reach out if Mexico is on your travel list, I’d love to plan an amazing trip for you!
National Beer Lovers Day! I love trying local beer while on vacation. My favorite is ice cold Presidente in the Dominican Republic 🍻
Do you have a favorite local beer you’ve tried while vacationing?
I’ll be in South Korea early next year and spent some time today researching and planning. To say I’m excited is an understatement! Temples, Palaces, Kimchi, Bulgogi, street artists...yes to all of those!
My 4 year old went on his first international flight at 12 weeks old and has been on more than 20 flights since....I agree with these tips. Preparation makes all the difference!
gadventures.com There’s plenty you can pack, and do, to help make a lengthy flight go smoothly
Excited to announce that my @gadventures ambassadorship is taking me to Thailand! Temples, longboats and Thai food are just the beginning... visiting @planeterracares Kao Thep Pitak Community is what excites me most!
I am so excited about this! After a 3 month selection process with almost 400 applicants, I was chosen as a 2019-20 G_Adventures Ambassador of Change! I love planning amazing trips for my clients, but equally love how travel supports community development worldwide...”using the power of our vacations to spread wealth, employ women, train youth, and preserve the unique cultures and places that we love to visit”.
I look forward to this journey and sharing it with all of you!

I look forward to using everything I learned to plan your next trip!

While on a Caribbean cruise 2 weeks ago, the kids and I delivered books to the Little Libraries on St Thomas. The hurricanes 2 years ago damaged several of their libraries, so this year, Little Libraries were installed throughout the island.
