Hiked the family up to Colchuk earlier this week, amazing place to spend your afternoon. Took us about 2:30 hours to get up the 4.3 miles to the lake....and that's with kidos.
2300ish elevation gain, which happens mostly towards the last 1/3 of the hike. Get this one crossed off your list if you haven't been up there yet. ☑️
If I wasn't carrying a child most of the way, I'd be bringing a paddle board instead lol 🤫

Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. Hikers are welcome to use Stevens Pass to access the Pacific Crest Trail and local trail network. We will not open the bike park this summer and will evaluate its future ahead of next summer. In the meantime, our teams are already hard at work preparing for winter and will continue maintenance to ensure we deliver a great experience next season. We look forward to seeing you again for winter 2021-22.

Our Story
Since my husband and I had kids we had a hard time getting away from our busy lives and work. Going on vacation always seems like a chore and we needed a vacation from our vacation. Looking for a getaway that was around a 2 hour drive from our home was the best way for us to escape and not have to take extra days off of work or break the bank. Our love for the mountains brought us to Leavenworth.
We found joy in hanging out with our kids and never felt too stressed or uptight. We loved to book condos for convenience. Eating 3 meals a day out and trying to plan things around our kids schedules was tough. Not to mention how small hotel rooms are not for high energy children. We actually enjoyed visiting so much we found ourselves booking a weekend every month. We never ran out of things to do or see. I still feel like we haven’t done it all to this day.
In September of 2018 we found ourselves looking at a condo in Alpine Village, we fell in love with it right away. It needed some updating but felt like home. So we decided to go for it and jump into the business of vacation rentals. We are still learning every day about this business and having a lot of fun with it. We absolutely love sharing our place and this wonderful small town with everyone. It’s always been a dream of ours to have a ski cabin, but this place turns out to be so much more. Come stay with us and find a relaxing vacation for you and your family.
