"LIFTOFF" at AREA15 Opens With Cocktails In The Sky

AREA15, Las Vegas’ immersive art, events and entertainment district recently opened “LIFTOFF” – a panoramic skyline experience. Located next to Art Island in front of AREA15, the new attraction is an open-air ride providing sweeping views of the Vegas skyline and mountains. At the base of LIFTOFF is LIFTOFF Lounge, a full-service bar and open-air lounge inspired by aeronauts and aviators seeking the exhilaration of flight and the vistas only high-altitude vantage points can offer. The imbibe-and-ride experience begins at the LIFTOFF Lounge located at the base of the steel tower designed as a triple helix. Guests can choose from a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy aboard the ride. Guests will then be strapped into their seat with their feet dangling in the air before ascending to the 130-foot summit with the Las Vegas skyline as their background.

Formed from a series of volcanic eruptions, Hanauma Bay is now a marine life sanctuary. This historic bay was used by Hawaiian royalty for fishing and recreation. It was aptly named Hanauma, which means curved bay, in Hawaiian.

Reservations are now required to visit Hanauma Bay. You can make reservations up to two days in advance, starting at 7:00 a.m. Only 1,000 visitors are allowed to enter the bay daily. QUESTION - How exactly does this 72 HOUR RULE work in regards to Covid Testing Requirements? If Italy says the test must be taken within 72 hours of arrival into Rome, (not within your departing flight) with a plane change for example in Atlanta, how do they calculate the date/time to allow you in?

ANSWER - Very easy and simple math. It all just depends on what the travel destinations requirements state.
The wording "Within 72 hours of Arrival" basically means they need a PCR test within 72 hours of arriving into the country.

Now if the Country Requires a PCR test 72 Hours or Less PRIOR to Arrival than we can use this example.

Flight Departs on 22SEP from Detroit at 1PM arrives ATL at 3PM ---2 Hour Change of Planes---- Flight Departs ATL at 5pm and Arrives at 7am into Rome on Thursday 23SEP. You count back 72 hours from 7AM Rome time on 23SEP. That would be 7AM on 20SEP Rome time. So if you take test anytime on the 20th of September (after 8am) within any time zone in North America you are well under the 72 hours prior to arrival. Let's say you took the test at 10am Hawaii time on the 20th of September, then that would be 10pm in Rome time (on the 20th), which should compensate for any delays.
If you take the test at 10am on 20th of September Detroit Time, than that would be 4pm Rome time on the 20th.

If the Country/State says it must be taken 72 hours or less prior to the last flights departure time to the destination then again it's counting backwards 72 hours from the last planes local departure time on the day you leave.

Another good idea would be to try to have extra long layovers in airports that offer onsite same day test results, (DFW and Montreal both have PCR testing facilities that have your results within 3 hours of taking the test.) That way you would have an extra layover of backup testing if needed. I wouldn't rely on that a 100% but that is the absolute max you can do to try and compensate for any scenarios.
