THE CAKE TASTED AWEFUL!!

Have you ever attended an event with a beautiful cake? You kept looking at it and imagining the buttery sweetness. You nibble on your food saving room for the delectable treat. You watch the host so you can be stategically positioned to get a nice slice.

Is it just me? :-)

You finally get the perfect slice and cut into it with your fork and put a morsel ever so carefully in your mouth to savor the flavor. And...it...is...Aweful!!

You look around to see if anyone sees you as you use your napkin to cover your face and inconspicuously dispose of the disappointment. You look around and smile.

We were the cake. We looked good. It appeared that we had it all together but our lives were aweful. We were stressed. We were in debt. We wouldn't answer our phone.

We kept telling ourselves that we were ok. We were professionals. We were grown. We got this!

Someone lovingly suggested this program to us.

Sunset at Gilligans Pier...

I was longing for the beach! I couldn't get to the caribbean so I went to Gilligan's Pier in Popes Creek, Md. Masks are required. You can dine inside or outside. Social distancing is required.
It is a very casual, laid back environment. Bring your shorts and bathing suits. They even have tables so you can sit in the water if you want to!
