Chris and Shelby, as well as their new deckhand Travis, are awesome!! Super friendly, very patient and helpful with us rookies, and put us on a bunch of fish. The cabin also makes for a pretty comfy ride out into the ocean.
I went out on the backlash with guys I work with, and my boss hooked into a massive grouper on his first cast. When he got it to the surface, Shelby showed more enthusiasm about a big fish than even any man I’ve ever known has shown. She was fired up 😂 tons of highlights I could note from the trip and lots of memories made. Five stars, ten out of ten, must fish with these folks!

We had an awesome trip on the water with Chris and Matt this past Monday! They put us in the perfect spots to catch some Red Snapper and a King Mackerel. Big sucker!!! The Bull Shark we pulled as close as we could to the boat yesterday. Thanks to the efforts of Captain Chris manning the Backlash, AJ, my husband and myself! What a memorable trip!

We caught a 400 lb 10-12 ft long Bull Shark.

Hard to leave and go in on days like this!! 4/6 on wahoos 0/1 white marlin and a black fin. Caught a limited of red snappers and decided to put the spread out…. The bite was incredible! Awesome day on the big pond and it was a pleasure having these gents on board!!
