Believe Vacations by Colette

Custom vacation planning for Disney and Universal. Let me plan the most magical of vacations for you and your family! My services are always free!

A lot of information was released late last night! For my current Summer and Fall clients, please check your email from ME
for more information on all of these changes!

❓What do we know right now❓
● Disney plans to reopen Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11 followed by Epcot and Hollywood Studios on July 15. Yay! So excited for Disney to finally open up their gates 🎉 (🎼 cue For The First Time in Forever 🎤)
● A reservation will be required for theme park entrance. Clients who currently have a reservation or park tickets will receive first priority. Disney has already started sending out emails to these guests.
● Disney is switching over to a new system, and in order to do so Disney is having to wipe everything clean and start over. So this means that all CURRENT dining reservations and FastPass selections will be cancelled. Dining reservations will now be done 60 days out (I love this news!! Disneyland currently does)
● Virtual queues will be implemented in the parks. (I’m eager to hear what this will look like!)
● The dining plan is not currently available, and guests who purchased the dining plan will receive a refund.

For those who have been traveling to Disney since they were a child, you will remember having to rope drop (park tickets in hand) to grab paper FastPasses in front of the ride you wanted. There was no My Disney Experience App to check wait times, rather you had to go to the board to view all attractions at once. Dining experiences were booked the day or maybe a few days before you arrived. This was the system, we didn't know any different, and it worked. When My Disney Experience did launch, people were angry, confused and complaining, but it became the norm and everyone adjusted and loved it. Magicbands launched, to help streamline your vacation into one swipe. Now Disney is enhancing and adapting to what people call our “new norm.” It’s not normal, it’s different (life in general looks so different right now!) Different to me is not always a bad thing, it’s how you handle the changes. It will be a learning curve but that’s why I’m here. To learn with you, to embrace the challenge and to live the Disney moments that I love. We WILL get through this and despite all of this change, Disney will still strive to create a magical experience for their guests.

In the meantime, please continue to have faith, trust and pixie dust! 🧚‍♂️ See ya real soon!

I’m happy to report I have some news from Walt Disney World 🎉 While I don’t have all the answers, I am just so excited to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and have the parks open in any possible way.

Today Walt Disney World submitted a proposal for reopening plans. Keep in mind this still needs to be approved by both the Mayor and the Governor, but below are the guidelines for how Disney can operate.

✨ Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom will reopen July 11th⁣!

✨ Epcot & Hollywood Studios will reopen July 15th!!

✨ Similar to the Springs reopening, guests will have temperature checks upon entering, and face coverings will be required, hand washing stations and social distancing will be in place. ⁣

✨ There will be a “temporary pause” on high contact experiences like Meet & Greets, as well as experiences that draw crowds like fireworks and parades. ⁣

✨ Park capacity will be reduced to comply with social distancing, so there will be an advance reservation system to enter the parks—more details on this coming soon.

✨ A Castmember “Social Distancing Squad” will be in the parks to help guests with all these new changes. ⁣

✨ Disney is going to implement "relaxation zones" where guests will be able to safely take off their masks for a while. Masks will be required at the theme parks, but you can remove them while eating at restaurants. ⁣

✨ More mobile order and cashless transactions will be used for purchasing food and merchandise. ⁣

11 Day Trip around The World Showcase!🌎
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Day 11: Canada 🇨🇦
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We have come to the final stop on our tour. The Canada Pavilion is a little misleading from the outside as it’s much larger than it appears, so be sure to explore in its entirety. There are quite a few architectural elements representing Canada in the pavilion, the totem poles being a main feature. The Victoria Gardens, inspired by the Butchart Gardens of Victoria, are absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. Take your time here, stroll by the pond and admire the flowers. As you make your way towards the back, you will find a bridge with a canyon of rocks, streams, and waterfalls. Many don’t even know this exists, but wow is it a great picture spot. 📸
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Canada Far and Wide, a Circle-Vision 360° film narrated by the hilarious Canadian duo Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy, is tucked away just past the waterfalls. You do stand for the entire film, but the imagery is stunning and you feel like you are actually in motion.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One can’t talk about Canada without mentioning the delicious signature restaurant, Le Cellier. Le Cellier Steakhouse is located in the “cellar” of the Hotel du Canada and offers a variety of steak and seafood items. The cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread are out of this world! Try it-you’ll thank me!🥨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Along the World Showcase Promenade before reaching Canada, you’ll pass by The Mill Stage. You might find a variety of bands offering anything from fun, folk music to traditional Canadian rock and bluegrass.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before you leave the pavilion, make sure you check out the two shops, where you can find a variety of Canadian-themed merchandise including Maple Syrup 🍁😋 Out front along the Promenade there’s an additional kiosk that sells keychains and other leather items.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And now my friends, we have come to the end. I hope you have enjoyed all I had to share. Epcot is so incredibly unique and holds such a special place in my heart. All of the countries are worth taking a day or more to explore in great detail. Are you ready for your next trip?

11 Day Trip around The World Showcase!🌎
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Day 10: United Kingdom 🇬🇧
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As you walk from France and across the International Gateway, you make your way into the United Kingdom. Cobble-stoned streets, a quaint pub, and the scent of fish and chips all combine to make this an authentic “trip across the pond.” No detail is missed. There are soot-stained chimneys, a wonderful gazebo, beautiful gardens and perhaps the most photographed items in the World Showcase-replicas of UK phone booths.

First stop, head to the Yorkshire County Fish Shop and enjoy a meal at a table overlooking the World Showcase lagoon. Seriously this is the BEST fish & chips EVER, even better than those I’ve had in London! Rose & Crown is also a fun and delicious spot. This restaurant offers tradition pub fare along with entertainment where guests are encouraged to sing along and make song requests.

Across from Yorkshire County Fish Shop, you will find a cute little cottage where you can meet the curious Alice in Wonderland. This doubles as a neat nighttime shot where you can snap a photo with a Tinkerbell lantern. 📸

Tucked in the back of the pavilion is the perfect spot for taking a quiet break. There’s a lovely English garden, topiaries, and Tigger’s Maze. A copper-roofed gazebo is the showpiece of this section, you may even find Mary Poppins making appearances here.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are many shops and merchandise to choose from in the pavilion including; tea shops ☕️ ; gear representing popular national “football” teams ⚽️; heraldry and weapons ⚔️; British pop culture merchandise and Winnie the Pooh merchandise! You even have the chance to meet and Pooh & friends here!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The UK pavilion will soon receive a makeover as the street is reimagined as Cherry Tree Lane from the beloved Mary Poppins film. AND for the first time ever, a Mary Poppins-themed attraction is being added to a Disney theme park! 👏🏻 🌂

11 Day Trip around The World Showcase!🌎
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Day 9: France 🇫🇷
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Bonjour! Another top three favorite, and not just because my name is French (although I do tell them every time 😜) France is one of my absolute favorite places I have traveled ✈️, I have even been so lucky to have is visited Disneyland Paris ♥️🏰 When I sit at a bistro table tucked into the passageways, while sipping a glass of champagne with a freshly baked croissant of course, I truly feel as if I’ve been transported to Paris.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What is not to love about the France Pavilion? It offers so much; entertainment, ambience, delicious food, character meet and greets and did I say delicious food?!? 🤣 I could eat (and drink) here ALL day!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The center fountain is not just a great spot for a picture, it is also a great place to sit, relax and people watch. Throughout the day the "Serveur Amusant" acrobats perform. It's a fun show where two talented performers build a tower out of chairs and balance on top.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What to do in France…..So much is changing and has been added to the France pavilion!
The Impressions de France, an 18-minute trip through France, is a film shown throughout the day in the Palais du Cinema. A Beauty and the Beast sing-along show has been newly added and the two shows rotate. Another new addition to the France pavilion is the Tale As Old As Time: French Storytelling on Stage and Screen display. The all-new exhibit provides guests with the opportunity to explore six gallery cases featuring a collection of costumes, music, artwork and more, all dedicated to the adaptation of French literature in cinema, theater, ballet, and opera. 🩰 🎭
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Opening to guests soon, originally schedule for this summer, is Remy's Ratatouille Adventure! So exciting! This attraction (which can currently be found at Disneyland Paris) will be themed after the much-loved 2007 Disney-Pixar film Ratatouille, where Chef Skinner will be chasing guests through Gusteau’s Parisian restaurant on a trackless ride system. This was one of my kids favorite rides at Disneyland Paris…I think we went on it 5 times! It is adorable and I can’t wait for you all to experience it! 🐭 🧀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The France Pavilion has a lot to offer, and when it comes to eating, whether for a meal or a snack, it can't be beat.
Les Chefs de France- An absolute gem and in my opinion, one of THE best restaurants in all of Epcot. Request a table overlooking the 'streets' of France for a fun view of the comings and goings while you enjoy your delicious meal. The decor and staff are spot on to a what a true dining experience is in Paris. Monsieur Paul - An upscale and elegant signature dining restaurant that is only open for dinner. Tucked away in the back of the pavilion you will find Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie., which offers croissants, eclairs, mousse, quiche, soufflés, tarts, cheese platters, and sandwiches accompanied by French wine, coffee and champagne. No trip to Epcot is complete without stopping by here AT LEAST once! Another new addition coming soon, an authentic French Crêperie! So many changes happening in the France pavilion! France also offers L'Artisan des Glaces; an Artisan Ice Cream and Sorbet shop as well as a little outdoor champagne kiosk. The Grey Goose vodka and Grand Marnier slushies are to die for! C’est délicieux! 🥐
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are an abundance of shops and merchandise to choose from in the pavilion of France. Perfumes and colognes are the featured items in the "Plume et Palette." At "La Maison du Vin", you can sample wines (for a fee) and purchase your favorite along with a variety of wine accessories and other snacks and Kitchen decor. “Souvenirs de France” carries the typical type of French souvenir like the beret, miniature Eiffel Tower, t-shirt, and the Paris purse. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No trip to France is complete without meeting some of our beloved characters. Here you can find both Belle in her blue dress and sometimes accompanied by the Beast, as well as Princess Aurora. Meeting these characters are truly a dream come true✨

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Day 8: Morocco 🇲🇦
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My old home away from home! ♥️ Obviously I’m a little biased as the majority of my time was spent here, but I absolutely love this pavilion.
It offers so much;entertainment, ambience, character meet and greets, delicious food and amazing shopping!
There is truly something for everyone!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While I have never traveled to Morocco, I have been to parts of the Middle East and to me this pavilion captured the culture and architecture perfectly.
Be sure to explore the many bazaars where you can find amazing treasures like Moroccan-made rugs, lanterns, clothing/shoes and more. You can even get a Henna tattoo.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No matter where you turn, there is a photo op waiting to be had. 📷
The tile work, fountains, archways and more are all amazingly beautiful. Be on the lookout for PhotoPass to capture a fun Magic Shot! If you head to the back, you will find Princess Jasmine. Obviously an experience not to be missed! 👑 🧞‍♂️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In my opinion, Morocco has the absolute best entertainment in the entire world showcase. Here you can find B’net Houariyat, which plays upbeat Moroccan music accompanied by a belly dancer. Check it out on your next visit!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Morocco offers three dining options including two table service and one quick service restaurant. Restaurant Marrakesh serves from a menu of Moroccan and other Arabian dishes for both lunch and dinner. Best part of eating here? Besides the yummy food, the restaurant offers live entertainment with a belly dancer. You might even get called up to dance! 💃 Spice Road Table is another great option, which offers beautiful decor and waterfront views. ✨Pro Tip✨This is a wonderful spot for a drink while enjoying the nightly fireworks🎇 If you are looking to spend less time eating and more time enjoying the sights, then Tangierine Café is right up your alley for a meal or snack. While known for their shawarma, I recommend a mezze style plate including sides like humus, tabbouleh, cous cous and falafel.

*Fun Fact* Did you know, while all countries get lit up at night, Morocco is the only pavilion that stays dark. This was, of course, intentional as illuminating the pavilion would be against religious beliefs that are prominent for the country. It is important to still be respectful of other cultures, which also helps us learn more about them.

Welcome! I’m so glad you stopped in.

Walt Disney said, “You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.” Let me be the person to make your dream vacation a reality!

A little about me....My love for Disney was instilled by my mom from day one. I grew up singing Disney songs and traveling to Disneyland and Disney World every year throughout childhood to my teens. My family would go for two weeks at a time and STILL would cry when leaving. That love and passion took me to work as a performer at the happiest place on earth, where I got my first taste in spreading the Disney magic. Since then, I have traveled to Disney World and Land countless times (I also used to live in LA), as well as Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris and Disney Cruise Lines. http://believevacations.com/an-interview-with-jasmine/

I am also able to help with Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood.

My services are complimentary, and because of that, I do have specifications for my assistance. My services naturally increase to reflect the cost of your vacation. Any of the following will open access to my wealth of Disney planning knowledge!

  • Purchase of park tickets 2 days or longer at Disneyland (to include Park Hopper option)

  • Purchase of park tickets 3 days or longer at Walt Disney World (to include Park Hopper option)
