11 lift stations, 11 destinations. Flying you across our waterfront and parks!
Why SkyLift will rock... 1. Navigating between east and west, north and south, has been a challenge. The sky lift system connects riders to ten points along the coast, and getting from point A to point B becomes as simple as stepping up and enjoying the ride. 2. Unlike other methods of public transportation, the sky lift system is port friendly, and doesn't interfere with the operations of any of Cleveland's working ports, whether they're nautical or aeronautical. 3. A sky lift system eliminates the need for costly bridges and pedestrian walkways, an unnecessary drain on the city's finances. 4. The system would connect with existing RTA stops (East and West) and with AMTRAK 5. Each car is a fantastic opportunity for companies to advertise, and the funds would go to the Regional Transit Authority 6. Cleveland's skyline will become more distinguished and recognizable. 7. Public transit to lakefront parks. Explore the waterfront's most celebrated parks without the hassle of parking. Wendy Park, for example, is hard to get to and thus has been under utilized. 8. A sky lift system provides a unique opportunity for major sponsorship. With such Cleveland landmarks as First Energy Stadium and Progressive Field, it is only logical that a sky lift system would be a comparable sponsorship opportunity, e.g. "United Airlines Sky Lift". 9. While Cleveland currently has an excellent public transportation system in the RTA, a sky lift will amplify Cleveland's ability to provide outstanding public transportation to its community. 10. Access to the RTA Municipal lot will replace parking spaces that could be lost upon development of Browns Stadium. 11. Eight Tennis courts exist at the east end of the Municipal lot that could be revitalized to provide more green space and athletic amenities for residents. 12. Edgewater station is within walking distance to Battery Park & Gordon Square. 13. The entire project would create many jobs and assist in the economic growth of our city.

cleveland.com Their vision: A neighborhood of sorts, with more than 1,000 apartments, stores and restaurants, an office building, a public boardwalk and a downtown school.
Status update: The Convention Center Hotel is off the table, we got to the party too late and can't impact their project timeline.

Option 1: An area on the West side of Mall C (directly in front of the new hotel) down to the area between the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum and Great Lakes Science Center.
Option 2: East Bank of the Flats to Wendy Park.
