"2 Ritchie Road is a reasonably priced, gem of a find for families wishing to be close to the USNA. We are so thankful we were able to stay there for Plebe Parent Weekend 2021. It’s just on the other side of the Navy Bridge, about 6 minutes from the Academy. There is a normal sized refrigerator, for anyone wondering, since it was not pictured in any of the photos, nor listed among the amenities. There is no dishwasher - so we used paper bowls and plates to cut down on clean up time. There is a good selection of dishes and utensils for cooking. There are 3 window AC units that keep the temperature very comfortable. The kitchen is separate from the living room. We found the living room to be a great place to sit and visit.
There is a Keurig coffee maker and there were assorted K-cups in the kitchen when we arrived. There is an iron and ironing board - important for midshipmen. There is no hairdryer. The owner/caretaker lives next door and is very friendly. They love renting to Navy families. The downstairs was being used as a longterm rental to midshipmen. We would definitely like to stay at the property again. Thank you for making it available!" ~Shad~
