I love when clients send photos from their vacations!! Here’s one of the Disney Wonder in the Port of Galveston last Friday. The rainbow is beautiful and my clients boarded the ship last week. I’m sure they are having a marvelous time!

Our internet service is completely down today and we are waiting on AT&T to fix it. Seems to be a complete area wide issue. Unfortunately I will have limited availability today and I apologize for the inconvenience.
[09/29/18] Time to head home!!! See you soon, Texas.
It has been an amazing week of #GetConnected at #CoNexion2018. Up nice and early every morning for information from multiple supplier partners and industry leaders as well as break out sessions on sea days. I’ve been able to make some amazing connections that will help our business grow and be ready for the future. The Harmony of the Seas has been a great home for the conference and I’ve enjoyed sailing her.
In our off time we’ve enjoyed the shows and had some amazing food. I was able to experience Chops, Sabor, Jamie’s, Johnny Rockets and many more. Rubicon, the escape room is so much fun, and we made it out with almost 11 minutes to go!!
If you’re bored on this ship, you’re doing it wrong!
Had a great time at the Mayan Ruins in Cozumel today. Our excursion included a guide, lunch and beach time and then we returned to our ship. Great way to see a part of the island!
It’s a beautiful day here in Cozumel and we had a great morning session, at 8 am. 😃
Always great to hear from Alicia Stewart with Carnival Cruise Lines. I appreciate their commitment to the Military and St. Jude. If you didn’t know, on every sailing and every ship, Carnival hosts a military appreciation time in their lounge for all active and retired military personnel. It’s a beautiful time of recognition. They also have some great Military dates if you’ve been thinking of cruising!!
But, this afternoon I’m getting off to explore a part of Mexico I’ve wanted to visit for several years! I’m very excited. More info soon!
Always great information from Vicki Freed at #CoNexion2018. Her talks always inspire me and give me things to think about as this company and industry grows.
Some photos around Central Park aboard the Harmony of the Seas. They even have umbrellas stationed in various places in case it rains!
The office today has moved to Haiti for a little bit. Had a great conference time this morning with an interesting statistic.
Many times folks have asked me if travel agents really still exist. Here’s some food for thought:
According to research of cruise line passengers and cruise lines themselves, in 2017 there were 28.7 million cruise passengers.
Of those in the family and premium lines, 73% of passengers booked with a travel agent.
Of the luxury cruises booked, 94% of passengers used a travel agent.
Up and at ‘em early this Sunday morning. Ready for General Session #1. Lets #GetConnected at #CoNexion2018
Ready to get this week started!!
Ready for the next installment of #CoNexion2018!
Rachel is traveling tomorrow through 9/29 for the annual convention #CoNexion2018
Any new request should be directed to Stefanie and she will be happy to assist you.
If you have a traveling emergency you can text or email Rachel.
[09/19/18] A BIG thank you to Fort Worth Catering for the delicious Fajita Dinner last night for my Client Appreciation Night. Everyone loved the food and the service was great. If you looking for a local caterer, look no further.

This is a really fun tour if you have a stop at Falmouth on a cruise. Short half day tour with about a 45 minute bus ride from the port. Quite a bit of walking and at one point 65 stairs to get to the platform of a cave base. But worth the climb down and back up.
For the James Bond fans, the cave is the site of a scene in Live and Let Die. And on the way you pass by 2 other scenes from that movie.
Had Chops for lunch today. Was so good!! Here are a few picture to whet your appetite. Be sure to make a reservation before you go!
There were a few dolphins playing in the water as we set sail aboard for a week long Western Caribbean Cruise!!
We have decided to have 2 nights to celebrate and elaborate on the special opportunity we've put together. The first night is for existing clients and the second night is for future clients!
Remember when I posted that a BIG announcement was coming? Well...
Things I do for my clients: 7:30 AM training.
Yes, I love you. You’re welcome. 😊🤣
Tonight’s dinner was very good Landry's Seafood House. If you go, ask for Matt, he’s a great waiter and very funny. Shrimp alfresco followed by bananas foster. The key lime pie was very good. Thankful I got a bite. 🤣
Time to get this party started!! Oh, I mean training. Because it’s so much like a party...
Ready for three intensive days of CLIA training so I can better serve my cruise clients!
Made it to Galveston tonight, training begins tomorrow!
Had a nice dinner at The Gumbo Diner of fish tacos and some of the best beignets this side of New Orleans. Make it a stop next time your in Galveston. My traveling companion got the club sandwich and sweet potato fries (which were amazing). We asked them what they did to them and he said just cut and fry. Ah, so they are fresh and not frozen. He said of course! Made all the difference. Make sure you get some when you stop by!
[08/06/18] For those of you who enjoyed following along on our River Cruise Adventure - there's big news coming soon!

[07/28/18] Sadly this trip has come to an end. But we are excited to be home as well. See you soon, Texas!!
As we begin to pack up tonight, we reflect on our experiences. We’ve visited Switzerland, Germany, France, and the Netherlands in the last 11 days. We’ve had amazing food, visited the finest museums and met some amazing people.
The #VikingVidar was a wonderful cruise experience and I would highly suggest clients considering a river cruise to go for it. They are completely different from ocean cruises and are great for history and architecture lovers as well as those who want to lean about other cultures.
The Kimpton De Witt has been a great home for our last few days in Amsterdam and I highly recommend staying here pre or post cruise, or just for a city visit.
Contact me when you’re ready to book your next adventure!
[07/27/18] A sobering morning in the Anne Frank House and Museum. If you’re planning to visit Amsterdam it is a must see. Remember to reserve your tickets 60 days in advance. Don’t wait until you get here, you may not get in.
Today ends our time on the beautiful Viking Vidar. She has been a magnificent experience and we can't wait to come back.
But, we have 2 great days planned in Amsterdam before we return home!
It's our last full day aboard the Viking Vidar. She has been a beautiful home for us this week. Can't wait to come back!
We'll visit Kinderdikj, Netherlands today and see the windmills, 19 in fact, the largest group in the Netherlands and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And we will be visiting a cheese farm with an in-depth tour of the cheese making process with samples!!
This has been an amazing adventure and I'm so thankful to have this opportunity.
CAUTION: food post ahead ...
Yes, it was very yummy! And no, we didn’t have dessert before or after. What’s wrong with us??!! 🤣
Enjoying some wonderful apple pie after our visit to the windmills!!
Today is all about Windmills and Cheese!
We will be visiting the largest concentration of windmills in The Netherlands. Built in the 19th Century these 19 windmills are a technological marvel and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Then we are off to a working farm where we learn about the cheese making process and end the tour with samples! What a perfect day to end our great Rhine River adventure.
Such a fun time at the Booij cheese farm! They specialize in Gouda from both cows milk and goat milk. My favorite was the Mediterranean made from cows milk. A very informative tour if you’re ever in the area!
Today we visit Cologne, Germany.
A Historic City Crowned by Northern Europe’s Largest Cathedral -- Learn about the treasured heritage of Cologne and visit its spectacular cathedral, towering over the Old City in its Gothic splendor. You’ll step into a rich past here, following some of its preserved historic street pattern and hearing about its Roman and medieval history along the way. You will also stop at Cologne’s magnificent Gothic cathedral. Construction of this towering structure, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, began in 1248 and continued in several stages over seven centuries. Finally completed in 1880, it largely escaped damage that ravaged the city and the rest of Germany during World War II. The largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, it is a magnificent church with two soaring spires and beautiful stained-glass windows. Please note: On some occasions, a guided visit inside may not be possible. In that case, you can tour on your own after an introductory explanation by your guide.
This is a relatively short tour and we will have the rest of the day to explore the town on our own.
Feeling a bit Medieval this Monday morning!
We're visiting the Marksburg Castle today. The only castle in the Rhine Valley to have never been destroyed. You will drive
with your guide to Braubach, where the incredible Marksburg Castle watches over the town as it has since the 13th century.
Because this magnificent structure was built with strong fortifications, it was never besieged by enemies. Upon arrival on its lofty grounds, enjoy spectacular views of Braubach, the Rhine and the surrounding countryside from its 550-foot perch. You will tour the citadel, see the impressive kitchens in the Gothic Hall building and step into the ancient torture chamber to view some grisly instruments. The distinct butter-churn tower, so named because the upper reaches have a smaller diameter than the lower, is a beloved landmark of the town with its distinct profile. Today, Marksburg Castle is home to the German Castles Association, which works to preserve medieval fortifications such as Marksburg all over Germany.
