[06/28/18]   The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad has canceled today’s train (June 28) as a safety precaution due to the Spring Fire east of Fort Garland. Information on future trips will be updated on their page, and in the event of a cancellation, each customer will be contacted by the railroad. For updates on the Spring Fire, please check slvemergency.org and please remember to follow fire restrictions while visiting our area. US 160 is currently open, and you can check cotrip.org for the latest road conditions. The Spring Fire is approximately 38 miles East of the city Alamosa, and has not affected any of our other attractions. We are keeping a close eye on the fire and will continue to keep you updated.
