Proud to have our billboard displayed at Miller & Market this month. Does anyone know what city is displayed behind us in the picture?

A recent trip to Jeruslaem and I found some phenomenal street art in the Yehuda District. A cool story I learned is that street artists were paining these famous faces illegally and when caught by the shop owners they were asked to continue painting :)

[10/31/17]   (Brian's Tuesday travel tip)
The difference between travel adapters and travel converters:

'Travel adapters' simply allow you to plug in your American device to a foreign plug so that it fits. It does not change the voltage of what you're using. So if you're looking to charge a cell phone or a small device all you need is an adapter.
Cost: they're relatively cheap - under $20.

'Travel converters' actually convert the voltage (up or down) and are designed for electric items that contain "heat" (hair dryers, hair straighteners, curling irons, etc.). However, they're not meant for continuous usage (so after blow drying your hair - turn it off!).

Cost: I've never purchased one of these but I believe they're significantly more expensive than adapters.

It's a sincere pleasure to work with TFL Tours - the BEST tour operator in Italy.

Traveling through airports with slip on shoes speaks a lot about yourself and sets you apart from the non-experienced traveler.

During my travels to Greece I stopped at The Island of Patmos. It was truly a remarkable island with fantastic history and culture.

During my time in Athens I was extremely impressed with some of the graffiti (though I almost feel guilty calling it graffiti as it truly is amazing street art. However, it's referred to as graffiti by some of the artists so I'll keep it at that).

Many of the best graffiti spots can be seen right in downtown Athens as well as areas adjacent to Athens' China Town.

Here I am in Ephesus touring:
1) The believed home where Mary (mother of Jesus) lived after Jesus' death.
2) Outside of Mary's home a wall of prayers on tissue paper.
3) Me in front of the goddess "Nike" (who personified 'victory')
4) Me jumping in front of the famous Celsus Library.
5) Me in front of the amphitheater where Acts 19:23-41 took place.

Day #2 in Athens:
1) Hanging out with new friends from Argentina & D.C.
2) Met 2 girls from Cleveland on my tour to The Acropolis. Here we are at the first every Olympic Stadium in Athens (Panathenaic Stadium).
3) My glasses on top of The Acropolis looking over the South side of downtown Athens into Piraeus port.
4) Finished a long day of walking with "Dr. Fish" eating my feet, lol
5) Strolling through the fun narrow restaurant streets of Athens.

1st day in Greece I enjoyed Lycabettus Hill, Alpha Beer, a spicy falafel (turns out falafels aren't Greek), and a night cap at The Athens Gate Hotel roof bar.
Life is good!
(Also there's a picture of the soccer match entrance I couldn't get tickets to)

Enjoying my "cozy" room at The Hotel Herodion here in Athens.

You know, as I was resting up I came to the conclusion that one of the most unnerving things about being in Athens is walking/driving around the city and having no idea of the history of the amazing sights I'm passing. THIS is why tours are not just educational - but deeply important for tourists.

A good tour guide is essential and takes your trip to a whole new level.

I'm eager to have a tour of The Acropolis tomorrow! Stay tuned for pics!

Just landed in Athens, Greece!
They have an IKEA within walking distance from the airport; I guess that's all you can really ask for.

--- I'm currently at The Delta Sky Club JFK Lounge in New York and I'm about to embark to a place I've always wanted to travel!

Without searching online see if you can guess where I'm headed with these clues:
1) The major airport in this country is called "Ben Gurion Airport"
2) This country borders The Mediterranean Sea.
3) This country is about the size of New Jersey.

Any guesses? :)

Much attention and love has been given to the 1987 born Portland Airport Carpet in Portland, Oregon (PDX). Believe it or not the Portland Airport carpet had its own social media handle. In January 2015 removal of this carpet began and many locals had the chance to keep part of the carpet for themselves. That is - all but a portion of the carpet that has been left at the very end of terminal E.
Last week I flew home from Portland so I arrived at my departure flight early to allow extra time to view (and take pictures) of the last bit of remaining vintage PDX airport carpet.
(Believe it or not The Portland Trailblazer's own Damian Lillard modeled one of his shoes after the carpet)
