Beauty or the Beast. What do you see?

Sharing with you all, I have been struggling over the loss of one of our biggest lavender fields due to a unexpected freeze last October. We lost 1000 French lavender plants. I am working to see the beauty that surrounds the loss and that will bring something new.

We lost our baker too this year and the bakery online had to close. This broke my heart.

Yes, we have difficulties and have to pick ourselves up too at the lavender farm. I feel it is important to not only share the beautiful parts of "A SEASON AT THE LAVENDER FARM " but the realities too. You have been so much a part of the farm you should know too whats happening here.

Everyone has been so wonderfully supportive and we are so grateful for all the love and care. We have always felt it is as much yours as our lavender farm in Abiquiu.

We are here!! We are not going anywhere.

"A SEASON AT THE LAVENDER FARM" ****PLEASE SHARE THIS POST ****it is hard to believe the season is so far along. In another few weeks the lavender fields will be purple. We are deeply sorry that we are not open and may not this year at all, but I will keep bringing you beautiful photos from the farm. Lets stay connected.

We are taking this down time to replace some of our older fields and make some changes around the farm.

These fields are doing beautifully. Do you remember this field? It is the u-pick field. It is alive and doing well. Many of you picked from it last year. When the lavender is ready you will be able to get fresh cut lavender again this year. It only happens once a year. We will keep you posted.

People call every day and all day long wanting to visit the farm. It is with a heavy heart that we say we cannot open. We want to thank all our wonderful customers for supporting us through this difficult time. Your support keeps us a float with all your orders. Thank you!!!!We are very busy and we appreciate all you have done to support the lavender farm for 16 years. Because without you there is no us. Blessings and stay safe.

When we are ready to harvest we will post fresh bundles for sale that can be bought and picked up curbside. More details on that later. Sorry no shipping on fresh bundles. And for our local customers, you can call the office for any product orders and schedule a curbside pickup. It does not look like we will be opening anytime soon, but we will offer curb pick up.
