Are you ready for a boat safari?
Let’s go on a fisherman’s boat for an authentic experience that you won’t forget.
Keti Bandar, the famous ancient Port of Debal where Arab muslim general Muhammad bin Qasim attacked and conquered Sindh, is now a quaint, picturesque jetty on the Indus River delta that flows into Arabian Sea. It’s at
approximately 3.5 hours drive south-east of Karachi. Mangrove plantations by our dedicated Sindh Forest & Wildlife Dept. around this area have made history as they ended up earning Pakistan 2 Guinness Book World Records! Its definitely worth the visit, because the place is unique, reveals the importance of mangroves along Indus delta and coastline besides providing education regarding climate change and it's impacts in Pakistan.
Also, if you're lucky, there is a chance you will get to see Dolphins breaking the surface of the coast too!
Book your tour and visit this hidden gem of Sindh to experience a completely local and personalized affair including delicious seafood delicacies for lunch served on the boat!
*Which kind of boat?*
A fisherman’s boat. There will be ‘rallis’ and cushions on the floor of the boat for one to sit on – no benches. It will have a green net roof covering to protect from the sun.
*High temp?*
If they start off at 10 am from Keti Bandar, it will not be uncomfortable in this season. In fact it is windy.
*Food beverage inclusive?*
Yes. Sea food, and one vegetarian item. Locally and hygienically prepared.
*What do u plan to do whole day?*
So you reach The Forest Department office at 7am. Park your cars there. Leave in the Forest Department vehicles, accompanied by their staff/guide. You will reach Keti Bandar maximum by 10 am – probably a little earlier. You freshen up at their Guest House, use their western toilets, have tea, and then leave for the Mangroves Boat Safari. That should take around four hours. You may spot dolphins. We did – both times. There will be two islands where you will get off at. On one you can collect beautiful large shells. On the other is a wooden bridge on which you can walk and see plantations below, and jelly fish and crabs in water. You will eat lunch on the boat from carefully prepared and packed lunch boxes. By the time you return to the jetty it will be around 2 pm. Then you can once again freshen up at the guest house and leave Keti Bandar in the Department’s vehicles for the Forest Department office Karachi from where you can depart on your own in your own vehicles. Way back the journey is longer as there is more traffic on the road near Karachi.
*10 people’s a must? Can't a family of fewer persons join?*
If people want it to be an exclusive trip then they must be either 10 or 20 in number – we have two boats – one big and one smaller. Otherwise they can tell us how many people are interested and their preference dates, and if we have another group we can link them with to get the desired number, then we can coordinate that for them also.
*Adult and child same rate?*
Yes. Preferably children should be above ten years.
Mohenjo Daro was considered as one of the earliest cities of the world, and a very advanced one at that. The reason is uknown but the city was abondoned in 1900 BCE and was discovered years later in 1911.
It is considered as one of the most significant archaeological sites of South Asia and it is definitely worth the visit.
Travel to explore and to grow as a person. It's a wonderful feeling!
One of our favourite things about Pakistan is that in every city there is a food corner, where you can enjoy delicious street food with your loved ones. Here are some of our favourite food streets of Pakisatan.
Comment down below which one is your favourite!
In Pakistan Zarda is very famously known as "Meethe Chawal" and it is highly appreciated in all the special occasions including weddings and Eid festivites.
This delicious rice dessert originated in the sub-continent and it is reminiscent of the Mughal Era where it was loved by the Mughal Emperors.
The pictureisque valley, in the Upper Hunza is infamously known as an area where "Pakistan truly begins".
It once used to be a princely state, part of Hunza and governed by the Mir of Hunza. The famous Gulmit Village in the valley would be the place of honor where the Mir would hold his courts, and local programs would be organized for his tribute. The locals would sing, and dance
in his honor too. The autonomy of this State was enjoyed till 1974, afterwards in Bhutto's reign the tenure ended up falling.
Gojal Valley's air though is still exquistely royal, and the atmosphere speaks volume of the enriching history that was spent and the bright future it holds.

Abbottabad was founded in 1853 and was named after the first deputy comissioner of the region, Maj. James Abbott. It is the sixth largest city by population in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is definitely worth the visit especially during the summers for the views and the cool weather.
As Mark Twain once said, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
Pakistan's natural beauty is definitely one of the biggest assets of the country. It has some of the most glorious waterfalls that one should visit at least once in their lifetime.
