Dhand Kheter (Bandi Chamiali) is the biggest village of Galiyat/Circle Bakot located approximately 40 km from Abbottabad on the Abbottabad-Muzaffarabad Road. A lush green valley full of pines.it can be termed as the most peaceful place in Pakistan as it's free from the hustle & bustle of cities life" it is 8,500 feet above the sea level. Dhand Kheter (Pattan Kalan) is located in the eastern edge of Abbottabad district where it forms part of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's border with Muzaffarabad District, Kashmir. It also borders the following Union Councils within Abbottabad district, Kukmang and Boi to the north, Kuthwal to the west, Beerangali and Nambal to the south. The people of Dhand Kheter are all Muslims. Most of the people of residing here belong to the Qureshi, Gujjar, and Abbasi tribes. The mother language of the people of Dhand Kheter is Hindko. The highest peak in Abbottabad District, Thandiani, is located in Dhand Kheter (Bandi Chamiali) and is located in the south of Abbottabad District at 34°13'60N 73°22'0E[ and is about 31 kilometres from Abbottabad city in the foothills of the Himalayas. To the east beyond the Kunhar River lies the fabulous snow covered Pir Panjal mountain range of Kashmir. Visible to the north and northeast are the mountains of Kohistan and Kaghan. To the northwest are the snowy ranges of Swat and Chitral. The hills of Thandiani are about 9,000 feet (2,750 m) above sea level. The nearest villages are Inderseri, Chattri, Okhrila, , Khokhriala, Lari, Banota, Sialkot and Bandi Chamiali (Dhand Kheter). Thandiani was originally granted as a lease to some members of the famous Battye family , in British India, who were dynamic Christian missionaries and also found in civil and military service, and who produced such famous scions as Wigram Battye and Quintin Battye; and the Battyes subsequently gifted the location to the church authorities, where a Sanatorium and various other facilities were set up during the British rule, mostly for the convenience of missionaries, Anglican church personnel and officers stationed at the neighbouring cantonment of Abbottabad. It contained some private European houses, a camping ground, a small bazaar, and the small seasonal church of St Xavier in the Wilderness which were occupied only during the summer months. Thandiani is characterized by excellent weather and lush greenery in the summer months, and snow-covered vistas and hills in the winter. Many tourists from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and all over Pakistan visit here, especially in the summer season. Being at a high altitude, with attractive scenery and several fine hiking trails into the forests and other nearby locations, it is a very attractive prospect. The mountains around Thandiani are still quite thickly forested, compared to most other hill stations in the locality, which have suffered some degree of deforestation over time. The local wildlife includes leopards, monkeys, several kinds of pheasants and the increasingly rare Flying squirrel and Pine Marten, to name only a few. As this area is away from sea and is above the sea level its winters are extreme. Winter lasts from October to April. April tends to be quite pleasant as the climate is temperate. The summer season is very pleasant and humid the temperature rises maximum to 25-30 degree, due to which it is good picnic spot. From mid July to mid August people enjoy the fifth season, monsoon, which provides relief after the hot months (i.e.May and June). Farming is the main occupation of the people. The farming is done by oxen in the remote area of village but in proper village i.e. Chamiali, Pattan is ploughed by machinery because of accessibility the two crops are grown there i.e. rabi and kharaif. The major rabi crop grown here are potato and maize. The kharaif crop grown there is only wheat but in very small area of village. There are two main purpose of this crop. 1:for cattle 2:For grain Some vegetable are also found here like turnip, radish, peas, pumpkin, beans and mustard. Fruit like pear, apple, black grapes, grapes, fig, peach, damson plum, mulberry, wild fig, lemon, apricot, charry are found in abundance in Dhand Kheter. As the hill people lack awareness about the markets, they are unable to get a proper return. These fruits only meet the requirement of local people. Most of the area of these hilly hamlets is covered with trees. Peaks are covered with evergreen trees including pine, walnut, oak and maple trees. Herbs, shrubs, wild flowers and thorny bushes can be seen in abundance. Goats and other pet animals graze the pastures. Wood is the primary source of fuel and home construction. Wood is used as fuel, it is the primary source of fuel. Gas cylinder are also used as fuel but in very low quantity. *جامع مسجد دیار حبیب مسینہ کلاں*
مسینہ کلاں ایبٹ آباد کا ایک انتہائی خوبصورت اور قدرتی، علمی ،محبت، رواداری کی نعمتوں سے مالا مال ایک گاؤں ہے جو ایبٹ آباد کی یونین کونسل پٹن کلاں میں واقع ہے
اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس گاؤں میں علمی دولت سے نواز رکھا ہے چائے وہ دینی ہو یا دنیاوی
اسی علم سے لگاؤ کا شاہکار جامع مسجد دیار حبیب ہے جو اس گاؤں کے مکینوں کی علم سے لگاؤ اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی محبت و اطاعت کا ایک ثبوت ہے۔
جامع مسجد دیار حبیب گاؤں کی قدیمی مسجد ہے۔
یہ سب سے پہلے یہاں سے ملحقہ ایک محلے ،،ڈب ،، پر مرکز عبادت کی علامت رہی جو کچے مکان کی طرز پہ تھی۔
بعد میں۔ اسے موجودہ جگہ پر 1955 میں تعمیر کیا گیا
اسوقت بھی اس دور کی طرز تعمیر پہ کچے مکان کی طرح بنایا گیا اور اسوقت اس مسجد کی خدمت و امامت علاقے کی مشہور روحانی شخصیت سائیں رنگ علی صاحب مرحوم کے نصیب میں رہی۔
یہ سب سے پہلے ایک کمرے تک محدود تھی جو اسوقت کی آبادی کیلئے کافی تھی۔
کچی مسجد ہونے کی وجہ سے لوگوں میں ایک جذبہ پیدا ہوا کہ اسے دوبارہ بنایا جائے۔
اسوقت سیمنٹ وغیرہ کا رحجان اور میٹیریل پہچانے کے وسائل نہ تھے تو علاؤہ مکینوں نے مانسہرہ سے ایک تعمیراتی ٹیم کو بلایا جو بھٹی لگا کر اس کا میٹریل بنائے۔
انہوں نے آ کر کئی دن تک بھٹی بنائی اور چلائی لیکن جگہ کی نوعیت اور سست روی کی وجہ سے انہوں نے کام ادھورا چھوڑ کر واپس جانے کو بہتر سمجھا اور چلے گئے
بعد ازاں بڑھتی ہوئی آبادی کے پیش نظر اسے وسیع کرنے کا ارادہ کیا گیا جس میں گاؤں کے لوگوں نے اپنی جان مال کی قربانی دی اور 2000ء میں اس مسجد کو وسیع کیا گیا
اس مسجد کا ہال اپنی ایک الگ پہچان رکھتا ہے جسکی بنیادی وجہ 1,116 مربع فٹ وسیع و عریض ہال ہونے کے ساتھ اس میں کسی قسم کا کوئی ستون نہ ہونا ہے۔
مسجد کی سیلنگ کو چیڑ اور بیاڑ کی لکڑ سے اس طرح ڈیزائن کیا گیا کہ دیکھنے والے دیکھتے ہی رہ جاتے ہیں
یہاں یہ بات ہمارے لیے قابل رشک ہے کہ جماعت اسلامی کے نامور سکالر جہنوں نے اس علاقے کی تقریبآ تمام مساجد میں جمعہ مبارک کے دن اپنے خطبات سے لوگوں میں علم و محبت بانٹی انکا کہنا تھا کہ سرکل بکوٹ میں یہ سب سے پہلی اتنی وسیع و عریض جامع مسجد ہے الحمدللہ
اس مسجد کی روز اول سے جن بزرگوں نے خدمت و امامت کا شرف حاصل کیا ان میں مولانا قاضی صاحب مرحوم، مولانا عبد الکریم صاحب مرحوم، پیر محمد زبیر صاحب دامت برکاتہم العالیہ مولانا عبد الرحمن صاحب مرحوم ، مولانا حبیب الرحمن صاحب و مولانا حسیب الرحمان صاحب مولانا نوید صاحب، کے نام قابل ذکر ہیں۔
جبکہ گزشتہ چھ سال سے مولانا قاری عبدالرشید صاحب جن کا تعلق آزاد کشمیر سے ہے وہ اپنی خدمات سر انجام دے رہے ہیں
اس مسجد میں گاؤں کے ہر عمر اور طبقے سے تعلق رکھنے والوں کی انتھک محنت شامل ہے
اس مسجد میں سیلنگ اپنی نوعیت کی ایک الگ پہچان رکھتی ہے جس کو شفیق الرحمن صاحب نے دن رات کی محنت سے پایہ تکمیل پہنچایا تھا۔
آج یہ مسجد اس پورے علاقے کی خوبصورتی کا نشان ہے اور محبتوں ، عقیدتوں ، علمی لگاؤ اور روحانیت کا محو و مرکز ہے

اس علاقے کا قدرتی حسن دیکھ کے انسان کی روح کو سکون ملتا ہے جس کی بڑھی وجہ یہاں کا موسم ہے.
ایک طرف یہ علاقہ اپنی خوبصورتی کی وجہ سے اپنی مثال آپ ہے تو دوسری طرف یہاں ماڈرن دور اور ترقی کے آثار دور دور تک نہیں ملتے جس کی بڑی وجہ #حکومت اور یہاں کی #لیڈرشپ کی #عدم_توجہ ہے.
ایک طرف تو روزگار کی سہولیات نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے لوگ گھر کا خرچہ چلانے کے لیے دور دراز شہروں میں جاتے ھیں تو دوسری طرف #تعلیم کی سہولیات نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے یہاں کے مقامی لوگ اپنے بچوں کے بہتر مستقبل کی خاطر اپنا جنت نظیر علاقہ اور گھر باہر چھوڑ کہ شہروں میں #کرائے_کے_گھروں میں رہنے پہ #مجبور ھیں.
چونکہ موجودہ حکومت کی #معاشی_پالیسییوں میں ایک بڑھی پالیسی #سیآحت بھی ہے تو ہماری علاقائی لیڈرشپ سے اپیل ہے کہ اس علاقے کو بھی سیاحتی زونز میں شامل کروایا جائے اور حکومتی ایوانوں میں بتایا جائے کہ اس علاقے کو سیاحت کے لیے استعمال میں لانے سے جہاں دور دراز سے آئے لوگ بہترین سیاحت سے لطف اندوز ھوسکیں وہاں مقامی لوگوں کو بھی یہاں رہنا آسان ھو اور ان کو اپنے گھر کی دہلیز پہ کاروبار مل سکے.
