Hi everyone. I plan on taking my Advanced Open Water course with El Tour Caribe. this Spring. To conduct the course, they require a second diver. if someone else can dive between Sunday May 17th and Friday the 22nd please contact me or El Tour Caribe.

Great Experience! The short answer is that this vendor is a great choice for your trip. To expand on that, their pre-trip communication was superior to the other vendors I considered. I was coming in to the DR to attend a wedding and decided to expand the trip to allow for extra diving. I chose the El Tour Caribe options of Sanoa Island Dive & Snorkel for Thursday and the Double Tank Bayahibe for Friday from their website. All had great locations, plenty to see, tons of sea life and they had great guides. The entire days were at a comfortable pace. I was diving and my son was snorkeling. We both had a blast with stories to share. Our boat was comfortably loaded as we passed others whose occupants were not nearly as happy. On the other hand, El Tour Caribe was not running on Saturday. I chose another vendor for a two-tank shore dive. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing end to my trip. The location was on the east coast side of the DR in an area of extreme resort development. The “reef” site we dove was totally dead. Although I was wet, seeing nothing but huge rocks with brown fuzz on them for the dives with nearly no surrounding fish was not my idea of a worthwhile dive. I asked my guide, and was told there was no way of comparing this area to Bayahibe or other sites. He had no idea of the cause of the reef being in such an unrecoverable state. If you consider other vendors than El Tour Caribe, I would try to get some kind of guaranty of the quality of the dive prior to booking. I wish you good diving. Dave

What a wonderful experience! Private boat for 4 of us included diving, snorkeling, drinking and dancing! Victor was a great dive instructor and Brito was amazing with the snorkelers! I saw puffer fish, manta rays and soooo many schools of fish. Then we went to Starfish Cay to see starfish up close while drinking from our own floating bar! Thank you El Tour Caribe Punta Cana our memories will last a lifetime!

Way to go Mother Nature!

All COVID-19 related news isn't bad! Late in March, restrictions due to the pandemic in Brazil provided a clear path for more than 200 hawksbill turtle hatchlings to make their first trip into the ocean. These endangered turtles typically face a treacherous trek into the waves, with curious humans and hungry birds as threats along the way. Hawskbill turtles are an endangered species found mostly in tropical waters from South Florida all the way down to Brazil.

Someday soon, we'll make our way back to world's shorelines to witness such spectacular events in person, but in the meantime, virtually visit Santa Rosa National Park in Costa Rica with Filipe DeAndrade to see this hatching phenomenon!
